SAVE
engages students in violence prevention efforts and empowers them with
the knowledge necessary to provide service to their community and
school.

Participate
in National Youth Violence Prevention Week During this week - long
national education initiative in late March or early April, various
activities will demonstrate the positive role young people can have in
making their schools and communities safer. Each day of the week
focuses on a specific violence prevention strategy.

Take Action Against Teen Dating Violence
The
Teen Action Campaign and the Family Violence Prevention Fund have
created resources for teens and service providers who want to begin
projects and awareness activities on the topic of teen dating violence.

Join a Bullying Prevention Campaign
The
national bullying prevention campaign “Take A Stand. Lend A Hand. Stop
Bullying Now!” has information and materialsto help parents, young
people, educators and organizations launch a bullying prevention effort

Become a mentor, a peer mediator, join a teen leadership effort, TAKE
ACTION to make your school and community a healthy, happy, and safe
place.
ADULTS …. Be a good role model for youth. Join
your school parent/teacher organization, mentor, or volunteer your time
in support of positive activities for young people. TAKE ACTION FOR THE POSITIVE DEVELOPMENT OF ALL YOUTH.
