The Herkimer Working Solutions Career Center is open to the public by appointment only for the purpose of job searching, using the resource room computers or for one-on-one assistance with staff.

They can also offer virtual services if desired. Everyone who comes to the office in person is mandated to wear a mask unless there is a medical exemption.

What is Metrix Learning?

As part of its SkillUp® Working Solutions Program, Working Solutions has made Metrix Learning® available to all in Herkimer County. Metrix Learning® is a comprehensive platform that delivers career exploration tools, career pathways, job search tools, assessments, and online skill training. Customers will have the ability to virtually register, update job skills via e-learning courses, track their progress (e.g. course completions, hours, skill badges, etc.) and explore careers.
