Civil Office

The Civil Division is responsible for the service and execution of all civil process in Herkimer County. The Civil Division serves matters from the courts, attorneys and the public.

The responsibilities of the Civil Division include service of income and property executions, summonses, petitions, subpoenas, family court papers, orders of protection and evictions.

The Civil Office cannot give legal advice on any matters. We do not supply legal forms, nor do we fill out forms. Any legal questions should be directed to an attorney.
